I CAN DO IT ALL...
I have to - who else will?
Women are strong, and have been throughout centuries of history.
Women have borne the children, managed the household and often the crops
and livestock, passed on the wisdom and practical knowledge of their
culture, and held many a society together with their natural abilities
to nurture and teach.
But, increaingly many women feel like they can't cope with the
demands of family and career. Some suffer in silence, others leave their
families, others deal with life by taking anti-depressive medication,
and others take even more drastic measures.
How have we come to this point, where so many women are falling
apart? And what can we do to pull ourselves together?
I want to help other women come out on the positive side of these issues.
My own experience with post-partum depression, small children, self-employment,
marriage, and family changes has taught me a few things that I have
been blessed to share with others. Women need to redefine themselvse
for the 21st Century, and I would like to be a part of that.

Women need to redefine themselves
for the 21st Century, and I would like to be a part of that.

My husband painted this picture of the situation 21st
Century Women find themselves in. That painting is the central image
of my message to women today. We are fragmented, yet somehow holding
together, blending in yet standing out, close to God yet often unaware
of His presence, tied up in knots, on the verge of tears, alternately
hiding and celebrating our femininity, and, most importantly, searching
for a vision of who we are meant to be.
