Happiness Hills Farm in the pinnacles area of Kentucky near Berea, is an ideal place for reunions, retreats or meetings and as a base for visiting sites in Kentucky, touring Appalachian craft studios, hiking or just enjoying a vacation away from it all.
The 80 acre farm includes a lake where fishing is permitted for guests, a creek just below Hill House with minnows and crawdads, fields for outdoor activities, and a large remodeled tobacco barn for activities under roof.

Hill House on Happiness Hills Farm offers flexible options for sleeping from 2-18, or for gatherings of up to 40 non-boarding guests.

The main floor has two bedrooms with 1 bath, kitchen, living and dining areas and can sleep 4 in bedrooms and 1 to 3 more on pull-out sofas.

An upstairs dormitory with bath adds 6 single beds.

A full ground floor adds an additional bedroom with bunk beds for 4 and a gathering room with a sofa-bed. It has a kitchen and two baths and can comfortably accommodate up to 35 for a meal or meeting.

Gate House, next to The Barn provides cots, kitchen and bath for up to 5 guests. This cozy cabin is a converted stripping shed - unassuming from the outside and plenty of "wow" effect inside!

Perfect for a small family weekend getaway or as a space for personal reflection, guests may rent the Gate House independently or in conjunction with other buildings at Happiness Hills farm.

The remodeled tobacco barn provides a large activity area and places for camping out, with two four-person tents in the barn lofts.

The tents can be removed for balcony seating for an event, and there is a catering-friendly kitchen tucked away beside the front doors. From a wedding to a barn dance, a bluegrass jam to a chamber concert, this barn makes it all possible.

Using Hill House, The Gate House and The Barn, a group of up to 26 can be housed as overnight guests.

The Barn is arranged so about 75 can be seated at tables for pot-lucks or catered meals, and can be used for a variety of activities. The Ramsay Conference Room on the ground floor in Hill House can accommodate up to 30 people at tables for a meeting or a meal.

Various alternate lodging sites, including historic Boone Tavern Hotel, local and chain hotels and motels, B & B’s and Homestays are close enough to be convenient for overnight guests participating in daytime and evening activities at Happiness Hills Farm in numbers our overnight space cannot accommodate.

Many Kentucky attractions are nearby or within a modest drive, including hiking trails to East and West Pinnacle on Indian Fort Mountain, Old Town Berea, The Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea, Berea College Square, Tater Knob Pottery and Bybee Pottery, Renfro Valley and Kentucky Music Hall of Fame, Kentucky Horse Park, Shakertown, Constitution Square in Danville, My Old Kentucky Home in Bardstown, Boonesboro State Park, Daniel Boone National Forest, Natural Bridge State Park, Red River Gorge, Lake Cumberland, Cumberland Falls, Levi Jackson State Park, and many other great Kentucky sites.
